Robert S. Hull
Founder and Chairman

A former CFO, Rob founded Adaptive Insights with a vision to provide modern finance leaders with an easy-to-use SaaS-based solution to manage business performance. Previously, Rob held the roles of CEO of ChemTracker, and CFO for software companies LoopNet and Risk Management Solutions, among others. Over the course of his career as a successful entrepreneur, he’s raised close to $200 million in equity and debt capital for his companies, and has completed several successful M&A transactions. As a finance veteran and expert in cloud-based initiatives, Rob speaks frequently to finance leaders regarding best practices in planning, forecasting, and analysis; he also speaks to CFOs sharing insight into how cloud-based corporate performance management (CPM) can drive competitive advantage. Prior to his financial management roles, Rob was a consultant for Booz, Allen & Hamilton.

Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University.

Tom Bogan
Chief Executive Officer

A deep passion for helping high-growth SaaS companies reach their potential fuels Tom’s success as a seasoned enterprise software executive. Prior to Adaptive Insights, he was an investor and board member of several highly successful software companies including Citrix Systems, where he currently serves as lead independent director of the board following his role as chairman. He also sits on the board of SaaS companies Acquia and Apptio. Previously Tom was a partner at Greylock Partners, where he focused on enterprise software investments. He was also president and COO at Rational Software until its acquisition by IBM. Before Rational, Tom served as CEO at Avatar Technologies and Pacific Data. He began his career as a financial officer in both public and private companies, serving as CFO at SQA and Orange Nassau, Inc., as well as vice president of finance at SCA Services. He has also held positions in public accounting.

Tom graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Stonehill College in Easton, MA, where he also serves as a trustee.

Robert Antoniades
Co-founder and General Partner, Information Venture Partners

A longtime enterprise software, analytics, SaaS and financial technology investor, Robert co-founded venture capital fund Information Venture Partners in 2014 as a spin-out of RBC Venture Partners from Royal Bank of Canada. He originally joined RBC Venture Partners as a managing director in 2004 where he led both direct investments as well as assisted in the development and commercialization of emerging technologies developed within RBC.

Prior to RBC, Robert was a vice president at BMO Nesbitt Burns Equity Partners and executive director of CIBC Capital Partners' Silicon Valley office in Menlo Park. He has served on the boards of many high-growth technology companies, is the past chair of the Distress Centres of Toronto, current chair of Flemingdon Neighbourhood Services, and Chair and co-founder of the Upside Foundation of Canada.

Robert earned a bachelor’s of business administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a chartered financial analyst, a fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute and a certified investment manager.

Byron Deeter
Partner, Bessemer Venture Partners

A partner at Bessemer Venture Partners and founding president and CEO of Trigo Technologies, Byron is a long-time cloud computing and internet investor, entrepreneur, and consultant. Prior to joining Bessemer, Byron was an executive at IBM after the company’s 2004 acquisition of Trigo Technologies. Prior to Trigo, he worked in private equity with TA Associates and with McKinsey & Company.

Byron holds a bachelor of arts degree with honors from U.C. Berkeley in political economy. He was named a California Emerging Leader Scholar and an Alumni Scholar. He is co-author of "Bessemer's 10 Laws of Cloud Computing and SaaS", the BVP cloud index, BVP’s cloudscape and BVP’s next cloud unicorns. Byron was named one of the "power players" of venture capital by AlwaysOn in 2013 and 2014, and was part of the Forbes Midas List in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Jim Kelliher
CFO, Drift

A four-time CFO and financial executive, Jim currently serves as CFO at Drift, the world’s first and only conversation-driven marketing and sales platform. He is responsible for all financial and administrative operations, including finance, human resources, legal, IT, and facilities. He joined from Actifio where he also served as CFO. Previously he was at LogMeIn, where he played a pivotal role in growing the business through successful initial public offering in July, 2009. He was also the CFO of IMlogic, vice president of finance and international CFO of PTC, corporate controller of Groundwater Technologies, and European finance director of Cullinet Software. Jim began his career as an audit supervisor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

With a bachelor’s of science degree in accountancy from Bentley University, Jim serves as audit committee chair for Adaptive Insights. He previously served on the board of directors of Fleetmatics Group PLC.

Sergio Monsalve
Venture Partner, Norwest Venture Partners

A partner at Norwest Venture Partners, Sergio brings extensive operational and venture capital experience from a wide range of business and consumer technology companies. His high-growth investment expertise is well served on such board seats as Adaptive Insights, Bionic Panda Games, BranchOut, Motif Investing, and Rafter. He is also a board participant with The Lending Club.

Most recently, Sergio was vice president of marketing at Photobucket, which was successfully sold to News Corp. and director of marketing & business development at eBay, which he grew to more than $500 million in gross merchandise sales.

Sergio holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s of science in management sciences and engineering (industrial engineering) from Stanford University. He started his career at Morgan Stanley, where he advised several companies on mergers and acquisitions.

Terry Opdendyk
Managing Director and General Partner, ONSET Ventures

Current managing director and general partner of ONSET Ventures, Terry has worked with technology-based start-ups for more than 30 years. Prior to founding ONSET, Terry was president of VisiCorp, guiding the software publishing company from inception into an industry leader. Early in his career, Terry worked as a technical manager for Hewlett-Packard as a part of the original group of individuals that started the company’s computer business. He later headed Intel Corporation's microcomputer systems business, microprocessor architecture activities, several international ventures and human resources.

He serves on the boards of both public and private companies, including Adaptive Insights, Arcot, APX, Callidus and Nextance.

Terry received a bachelor’s of science from the Michigan State University Honors College and a master’s of science from Stanford University. He currently is a fellow at the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Haas School of Business, University of California.

Mark Templeton
President, CEO and Director of Citrix Systems, Inc. (retired)

A combination of Mark’s leadership and appreciation for company culture as a competitive business advantage propelled Citrix into one of the world’s largest enterprise computing and software-as-a-service companies.

During his 20-year tenure with the company, Mark and his team transformed Citrix from a $15 million organization with one product, one customer segment, and one go-to-market path, into a global powerhouse with annual revenues of over $3 billion and 100 million users worldwide.

Along with serving on the board of Adaptive Insights, Mark is currently independent director at both Equifax, Inc. and Keysight Technologies, Inc. along with being a Member of The Industry Advisory Council of Azure Capital Partners.

He has received numerous leadership awards including the AeA Abacus Award for Outstanding High-Tech Executive, the EVIE award for “Businessperson of the Year,” the Excalibur Award, and in 2013 he also ranked #12 on Glassdoor’s list of “Highest-rated CEOs.”

Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial product design from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
