Mark Templeton

Mark is the former president and CEO of Citrix Systems, where he spent 20 years propelling Citrix into one of the world’s largest enterprise computing and SaaS companies. With his team, Mark transformed Citrix from a $15 million organization with one product, customer segment, and go-to-market path, into a global powerhouse with annual revenues of over $3 billion and 100 million users.

Mark is also an independent director at Equifax, Keysight Technologies, and Arista Networks. He is an active investor and mentor of early stage companies and entrepreneurs. He has received numerous leadership awards, including the AeA Abacus Award for Outstanding High-Tech Executive, the EVIE award for “Businessperson of the Year,” the Excalibur Award, and in 2013 he ranked #12 on Glassdoor’s list of “Highest-rated CEOs.”

Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in product design from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.

Tom Bogan
Chief Executive Officer

A deep passion for helping high-growth SaaS companies reach their potential fuels Tom’s success as a seasoned enterprise software executive. Prior to Adaptive Insights, he was an investor and board member of several highly successful software companies including Citrix Systems, where he served as Chairman. He currently sits on the board of SaaS companies Acquia and Apptio. Previously, Tom was a partner at Greylock Partners where he focused on enterprise software investments. He was also president and COO at Rational Software until its acquisition by IBM. Before Rational, Tom served as CEO at Avatar Technologies and Pacific Data. He began his career as a financial officer in both public and private companies, serving as CFO at SQA and Orange Nassau, Inc., as well as vice president of finance at SCA Services. He has also held positions in public accounting.

Tom graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Stonehill College in Easton, MA.

Jean Halloran

Jean is an industry veteran combining leadership and organizational effectiveness and has expertise working with high-growth technology companies. She currently serves as a director of Keysight Technologies, Inc., an electronic test and measurement equipment company. Jean spent 15 years, most recently as senior vice president of human resources, at Agilent Technologies, Inc. She also served as director of education and in various senior human resources roles at Hewlett-Packard Company, a global leader in enterprise technology.

Jean holds a bachelor’s degree in art history from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard University.

Robert S. Hull

A former CFO, Rob founded Adaptive Insights with a vision to provide modern finance leaders with an easy-to-use SaaS-based solution to manage business performance. Previously, Rob held the roles of CEO of ChemTracker, and CFO for software companies LoopNet and Risk Management Solutions, among others. Over the course of his career as a successful entrepreneur, he’s raised close to $200 million in equity and debt capital for his companies, and has completed several successful M&A transactions. As a finance veteran and expert in cloud-based initiatives, Rob speaks frequently to finance leaders regarding best practices in planning, forecasting, and analysis; he also speaks to CFOs sharing insight into how cloud-based corporate performance management (CPM) can drive competitive advantage. Prior to his financial management roles, Rob was a consultant for Booz, Allen & Hamilton.

Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University.

Jim Kelliher
CFO, Drift

A four-time CFO and financial executive, Jim currently serves as CFO at Drift, the world’s leading conversational marketing and sales platform. He is responsible for all financial and administrative operations, including finance, human resources, legal, IT, and facilities. He joined from Actifio where he also served as CFO. Previously he was at LogMeIn, where he played a pivotal role in growing the business through its successful initial public offering in July 2009. He was also the CFO of IMlogic, vice president of finance and international CFO of PTC, corporate controller of Groundwater Technologies, and European finance director of Cullinet Software. Jim began his career as an audit supervisor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Jim earned a bachelor’s of science degree in accountancy from Bentley University. He previously served on the board of directors of Fleetmatics Group PLC.

Terry Opdendyk
Managing Director and General Partner, ONSET Ventures

Current managing director and general partner of ONSET Ventures, Terry has worked with technology-based start-ups for more than 40 years. Prior to founding ONSET, Terry was president of VisiCorp, guiding the software publishing company from inception into an industry leader. Early in his career, Terry worked as a technical manager for Hewlett-Packard. He later headed Intel Corporation's microcomputer systems business, microprocessor architecture activities, international ventures, and human resources.

He serves on the boards of both public and private companies.

Terry received a bachelor’s of science from the Michigan State University Honors College and a master’s of science from Stanford University. He currently is a fellow at the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Haas School of Business, University of California, where he has taught the Venture Capital & Private Equity class since 2004.

Jill Ward

Jill is experienced at scaling SaaS products and companies. She is motivated by helping teams solve customers’ important business problems, and serving them well, so customers exuberantly love and recommend the products they use.

Most recently, Jill served as president, COO, and CEO-elect of Fleetmatics, a SaaS provider of workflow solutions to mobile businesses, that was acquired by Verizon. Prior to Fleetmatics, she was SVP/general manager of Intuit businesses that serve accountants, providing tax and accounting software and services to help accountants and their small business clients around the world succeed. She also served as VP/general manager for a portfolio of industry-specific software companies acquired by Intuit. Jill currently serves on the board of HubSpot, a SaaS marketing, sales, and CRM suite for SMBs.

Jill holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College.
